And of course, you can count on them to keep you dry in unexpected snowfall thanks to a DWR-treated membrane. Valuable features include zippered ventilation, strategically placed pockets, elastic snow gaiters and an all-purpose RECCO reflector.

Fluorocarbon Free DWR
DWR is a long-term water repellent impregnation. Where possible, Haglöfs uses PWRs that are free of PFOS (perfluorooctane sulfonate) and PFOA (perfluorooctanoic acid) to cause as little environmental impact as possible.

FlexAble
FlexAble are woven 4-way/2-way stretch fabrics that provide an extremely high level of comfort and flexibility. The membrane-free fabrics combine excellent vapor permeability with wind resistance and freedom of movement. This makes them ideal for use in clothing for physically demanding outdoor activities. The outside of the fabric is water repellent. The inside is designed to quickly wick moisture away from the body. FlexAble fabrics are treated with a PFC-free or PFOA-free DWR.

The RECCO Helicopter Detector allows rescue workers to search and scan large areas from the air to locate missing persons with RECCO reflectors. The RECCO Helicopter Detector was announced in 2015 and has been intensively developed and implemented in helicopter bases in Switzerland, Italy, Sweden and Norway.
